(PETERBOROUGH) Former National Hockey League (NHL) star Keith Primeau is coming to Peterborough.
Primeau, former captain of the Philadelphia Flyers, will be at Fontaine Source For Sports on Saturday (Oct. 20) from 1:30 to 2 p.m., helping raise awareness and money for concussions. Primeau suffers from post-concussion syndrome, and has been a vocal proponent of bringing the seriousness of concussions to the attention of the public, parents, players, coaches and trainers.
Fontaine is doing its part by donating all of the day’s sharpening proceeds to dev.stopconcussions.com, which was co-founded by Primeau. Learn more about concussion awareness and prevention atdev.stopconcussions.com
