August 18, 2020

Join us August 18, 2020 for the Annual SlapShot Golf Tournament in Winnipeg Manitoba!

It’s back. In the summer of 2018, we hosted an extremely successful Slapshot Golf Tournament in Winnipeg featuring stars from the best hockey movie of all time and NHL alumni. The boys are back this summer for Slapshot Golf – the sequel – OVERTIME. Our goal is to raise money for Shoot for a Cure supporting the StopConcussions Foundation, the Canadian and American Spinal Research Organization and CONNECTED – a mental health initiative.

With your support, we can help raise awareness and funds, while providing a great golf experience for you and your friends that can be associated with your brand.

On Monday August 17, Santa Lucia Pizza, 4 St. Mary’s Rd will host a Hotstove Lounge with the cast and crew of the movie. Two of the Hanson Brothers, Killer Carlson, and the funny French goalie Denis Lemieux are confirmed to attendm ore to be announced. Everyone will have an opportunity for pictures, autographs and loads of stories. We will do some intros, hear behind the scene stories and re-enact a few of the scenes from the movie with our favourite characters! As well as there will be a short presentation on the important causes we are supporting.

Tuesday August 18 is Golf Day at St. Boniface Golf Course
. Registration begins at 10 AM, after a quick lunch, we hit the links at 11:30 AM. Dinner after 18 holes is upstairs at St. Boniface Golf Course.
